Cafe Rouge and Bella Italia are the high street restaurants performing the best when it comes to seafood sustainability, whilst Prezzo, Wetherspoons and Itsu are doing the worst. Eleven chains and pubs have been assessed by us and ratings organisation Fish2fork.
Seabass stock in UK waters is in a desperate situation. The very latest advice from ICES says no bass should be caught in 2017 and whilst MCS supports this advice wholeheartedly – we're concerned it’s unlikely to happen leaving the stock in dire straits by 2018.
